My ability to do the work I value most depends on protecting the identities of those who trust me with sensitive information – I do not want you to face negative consequences for communicating with me. For this reason, I use encrypted channels that only I could ever have access to (on my end) for sensitive source communication, and I encourage you to do the same (or at least not use email accounts or other channels tied to your employer or if any other person could access them).
